Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI), a leading property developer in the Philippines, is set to complete the construction of San Sebastian Church within its Vermosa estate in Cavite by 2026.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the 500-seat church was recently held, marking a significant milestone in ALI’s mission to create vibrant communities. The architectural design of the church will be led by Casas + Architects, Inc., while the construction partner will be announced later.
“This partnership underscores our commitment to enrich the lives of Filipinos by providing spaces for spiritual growth within the Cavite community,” said May P. Rodriguez, ALI Vice President and Senior Project Development Head of the Estates Group. “As we break ground, we reaffirm our shared mission to build communities where everyone can thrive.”
San Sebastian Church is envisioned to serve as a central hub for worship, reflection, and community activities. It will include facilities for weddings, seminaries, and ample parking to cater to various needs.
According to Casas + Architects Principal Architect Carmelo T. Casas, the church’s design embodies the timeless principles of aggiornamento, offering a sacred space that inspires worship and reflects a divine presence.
